about

“These are the scars that we collect. The scars we never sell or give away.”

This is the third album by Xup. It is essentially about boys: Boys on the radio; boys on film; boys with guitars. Boys that build you up and boys that let you down. Boys that stayed and boys that left. Boys that came along for the ride and boys that got left behind. Boys that catch the stars that shine and lock them in a glass globe for you to keep, and boys that let them slip away while you sleep. Boys that sing you lullabies, and boys that make too much noise. Boys that whisper in your ear, and boys that scream at your face. Boys you have loved and boys you have hated. Boys that loved you and boys that didn’t love you back. Boys keep swinging. This is an album about boys… and the scars they leave behind.
